Reporting is another business area that is a differentiator at Olive Marketing Consulting. Throughout my twenty years of experience in marketing, I have had the opportunity to serve as a VP and/or Director for multiple competitive businesses. I have also helped grow other ad agencies. Those experiences allowed me to realize what lacked in agencies that each company I serviced actually needed. Thorough reporting was definitely a drop-off point.

Most agencies will provide you with basic website and impression KPIs that demonstrate the number of “brand impressions” you received per lead source. Some will provide you with keyword phrase reporting. Some will actually track conversions for you such as phone calls, form-fills and online transactions. That said most agencies do not provide search volume along with their keywords that they report to you and I have yet to see an agency implement an ROI attribution system.
